Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data Ubaax collects, why, and your choices. We aim to collect only what the app needs to work.

What we collect

• Account: name, email, password (stored encrypted), city, and optional profile details.
• Location: for Drive (live location during a ride) and for showing nearby content. Your home location is stored only in a coarse, approximate form (~1 km), never your exact address.
• Content: posts, photos, messages, listings, and reports you create.
• Gurso: for matchmaking, gender, age range, and clan you provide, plus an 18+ confirmation. Women may keep photos hidden until a mutual match.
• Driver documents: for approved drivers, licence and vehicle details, stored privately and shown only to admins for verification.

How we use it

To operate the app: sign you in, connect riders and drivers, show relevant content, deliver messages and notifications, keep the community safe, and respond to support requests.

What we share

During an active ride, your driver sees your live location and you see theirs. Public posts and active listings are visible to other users. We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your exact home location with anyone.

Payments

Ubaax processes no online payments and stores no card or bank details. All transactions are cash, in person.

Your rights

You can view and edit your profile, and delete your account and data at any time from Settings. Deletion is permanent.

Retention & security

We keep data while your account is active and delete it when you delete your account. Access is protected by row-level security and encrypted connections. Backups are kept for a limited period for disaster recovery.

Children

Ubaax is not intended for children under 13. Gurso is 18+ only.
